Castle Diorama I – The Base


For a while now, I have thought about creating a diorama that would allow me to photograph my O-scale narrow gauge vehicles. Especially the cute litte industrial steam engine deserves a nice base to be photographed upon.

After many weeks of wondering on how such a diorama should look, I finally made up my mind yesterday when I was modelling with my old friend KC.

Monastery Diorama IV – Color and Groundwork


Time for another update!

Since I left off last time, I’ve had time to build a lot on the monastery diorama. It’s both a fun and easy project. Since the diorama is so small, about 58 x 28 centimeters, makes the construction quick and leaves lots of time for the most fun part IMO, adding all the little details. My vacation continues with lots of time to work on the monastery diorama. I’ve decided to focus on the diorama, so it be able to function as a photo backdrop for when I finish some figures and vehicles.
